Just like our other Hexa leashes, it is waterproof and easy to care for – the perfect combination of style and safety.

Traffic Safety & Technical Specifications

This isn't just a leash; it is essential equipment for every dog owner. In many countries, traffic regulations require dogs to be restrained in the car so they don't distract the driver or endanger themselves.

Legal Compliance: This belt ensures you follow the rules. It prevents the dog from wandering around the cabin, climbing into the driver's lap, or becoming a projectile through the windshield during sudden braking.

Why is Hexa better for the car?

  • Hygiene: After a walk, your dog is often wet or muddy. Unlike fabric belts, Hexa does not absorb moisture or odors. There will be no "wet dog smell" coming from the gear in your car.

  • Easy Cleaning: If the belt gets dirty, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth.

Safety Construction

  • Aluminum Carabiner: Ultra-light yet strong (load-tested for large dogs). It won't open upon impact.

  • Adjustable Length (46–72 cm): Critical for adjusting the dog's degree of freedom. Shorter for safety in the city; longer to allow a lying position on longer trips.

⚠️ MANDATORY WARNING: The car safety belt must ONLY be attached to a harness. Never attach it to a collar – in the event of braking, this can cause fatal neck injuries!

Caring for Hexa Material

Caring for your Hexa leash is incredibly easy. Since the material repels moisture and dirt, a quick wipe with a damp cloth is usually all it needs. For a deeper clean, you can use mild soapy water, but please avoid harsh chemicals. To ensure the longest possible lifespan for your gear, try not to leave it in direct sunlight for extended periods or expose it to extreme temperature fluctuations.

It is also good practice to regularly check the carabiners to ensure the mechanisms are working smoothly. If necessary, apply a small drop of lubricant to keep them moving freely and prevent rust or debris buildup.

Hexa is a modern, high-strength material featuring a unique double-sided hexagonal (honeycomb) pattern. Unlike smooth webbing, this texture ensures a secure non-slip grip, meaning the leash won't slide out of your hands even when wet or swimming.

We want your purchase to bring you nothing but joy. That is why we offer a full right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the item.

Return Policy:

  • Deadline: Returns must be made within 14 days of receiving the item.
  • Condition: The item must be unused and clean.

How to return an item:

  1. Communication: Please fill out the return form in your customer profile (created after placing an order) or send an email to info@obidog.lv. Please include your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Shipping: Return the item by sending it to the Domina parcel terminal in Riga (Omniva or DPD).
  3. Costs: Return and shipping costs are covered by the customer (except for warranty cases).

Important Exceptions (Customized Items)
Returns are not available for items made specifically to your order – for example, items with custom measurements, name embroidery, or unique color combinations.

Damage or Warranty (We'll take care of it!)
If an item is returned due to a manufacturing defect or warranty issue, we will cover the shipping costs. In such cases, please include a description of the problem.
